On Saturday morning, nearly a dozen YouTubers woke up to find their channels wrongly terminated. These content creators have very little in common; Trainer Tips and Mystic7 make Pokemon Go videos, Billiam and Vailskibum94 do video essays while JustFlippers and Sqaishey Quacks dedicated their time to child-friendly content. All of these content creators received emails saying that years-old videos “were flagged for review” and that they could receive strikes.
There is one common thread that ties all of these channels together. Every one of them has included in the title or tags (YouTube keywords) the term “CP,” which the numbers and code inside YouTube’s algorithm seemed to have mistaken for “child porn.” (YouTube did not comment to Newsweek on what caused the bans or if they were indeed about minor sexual content.)
In Pokemon Go “CP” refers to Combat Power, which the pair of Pokemon YouTubers used a lot. In a video posted on Mystic7’s second YouTube content, the influencer expresses his distress over the sudden and unexpected removal of his channel. “It’s literally our livelihoods that have been shut down unfairly,” Mystic7 said.
Just one day after the “CP” bans, YouTuber MattsWhatItIs uploaded a video titled “Youtube is Facilitating the Sexual Exploitation of Children, and it's Being Monetized (2019).” The 12-hour long video has amassed more than half a million views and a front page reddit post that’s been gilded multiple times. The video consists of what Matt claims “is a wormhole of a softcore pedophile ring” consisting of multiple channels and videos dedicated to underage kids in compromising positions.
None of the clips featured are of sexually explicit content, but are of girls stretching or doing gymnastics. These videos can rack up tens of thousands or millions of views and aren’t intentionally malicious. Viewers might not be as innocent.
Most have comments disabled, but others are filled with sections of sexually explicit admiration by strangers or time stamps to the girls in compromising positions. “Report this video, sorry little lady but not everyone on here has good intentions,” wrote one commenter on one of the clips mentioned in Matt’s video essay. Some of these videos have been gathered and reposted to YouTube with advertising enabled, allowing the content to make money off creepy clickers.
a YouTube spokesperson said “any content - including comments - that endangers minors is abhorrent and we have clear policies prohibiting this on YouTube.
This guy on youtube is suspicious. How did he find these videos in the first place? And why is he streaming live tutorials, how to find these children? I also want to know, why is he telling his viewers to go and contact the media and authorities, while he just sits and streams tutorials. FBI should inspect this case. It wouldn't be the first time, when a "hero" turns into zero.
GOOD QUIT BEING A HATER oh. goddamnit. at least some haters' channels got b& while offenders slide.

YouTube will have no choice but to overreact because no one is capable of policing the 300 hours of video that are uploaded every minute (not to mention the comments).
And a bunch of good videos will be removed or demonetized which will cause another waive of outrage. It's a great cycle we have going.

>(((youtube))) is lenient on (((pedophiles))) Duh?

Now that is some major retardation. I hope YouTube suffers by this somehow even though I don't really blame them for this pedofaggotry, though I'm pretty sure they will not.
Note how you never see both of his hands during the video, and that his face reddens increasingly throughout. He's fapping.

can almost guarantee that this guy will end up being walked off in handcuffs after 20 petabytes of pizza is found on his massive data-array. It's always the ones screaming the loudest that are the most warped and involved.

WHY DO WE FIGHT CHILD PORN?
why just not make it legal and have fun? we need more love, between everybody, not less
That's generally how it is. The people who honestly don't see anything sexual about it are just sitting around wondering why every is screeching at the top of their lungs. This current pedohunt itself is creepy. A bunch of shifty eyed pedos trying to out other people as pedos to keep the attention off of them.
You have people sitting around digging through harmless videos for anything they consider sexual involving minors. Keyword : They consider sexual. A bunch of kids playing in a wading pool in swimsuits? To normal people: What's wrong? To these people: THIS IS FAPPING MATERIAL BAN IT.
One can only wonder what kind of abuse these people went through to think a bunch of kids playing around with a camera is sexual.

I've seen these before during pizza gate. These stuff were discussed on reddit but it's the classic 'denial' bullshit reddit is good at and eventually all the info got purged and put into 'conspiracy' box. The youtube automatic thumbnailer algorithm is too good and tailored meticulously that it chooses the most 'lewd and clickbaitable' frame of the entire video to make you even think it's cp (most looks like undressing or legspread) while the uploader DID NOT intentionally do that and some of the vids were live shots or uploaded straight from 'smartphone app'. Most of the videos come from a computer or phone webcam or app that uploads to the cloud directly and some are youtube live.
