The video uses the real footage of Biden apologizing and promising to be more “mindful” of social norms—but in the background, another, animated Joe Biden appears behind the real one, grabbing his shoulders and breathing heavily. “WELCOME BACK JOE!” Trump wrote. The bizarre video appears to have originated from @CarpeDonktum, a user whose memes Trump has drawn from in the past.
The former vice president replied to Trump on Twitter later Thursday, writing: “I see that you are on the job and presidential, as always.”
