As long as I cook good food, have access to clean water (like I said, I distill my drinking water), have the right to bear arms and do pretty much as I please (meaning being left alone) without having to pick fights with bureaucrats then I'm happy the way I live. If I really want to live it up, I could always drive to a city and go to an expensive restaurant. I don't do that often, but I have done it with family before.

When SHTF, cities become death traps. So I'd recommend staying away from them unless its a very special occasion you have planned with some pals from work, or a date, or your family. Otherwise I try to avoid the populated areas and only travel to them for things I absolutely need that I can't find elsewhere.
