I don't live in a city, just a small town that has a population of about 2,000 residents. Luckily many locals know each other and considering a couple cops knew me personally they were able to get their chief of police to let me off with a warning not to let that happen ever again. My wife explained to him over the phone that I had a drinking problem too, which might have helped.
