Women outperform men after Japan medical school stops rigging exam scores

139 accepted women vs. 169 accepted men
29 graduated women vs. 34 graduated men
Assuming the applicants are constant from this year and last year:
49 accepted women vs. 198 accepted men
90 more women and 29 less men.

What's more interesting to ask; is this specifically to be accepted in their medical program or is it just to be accepted in their school? While it is primarily a Medical University, there is also a Liberal Arts wing. Double-checking the Liberal Arts Faculty page indicates that it is indeed located in Bunkyo Ward, Tokyo and not in one of the other campuses. Additionally, the phrase "over women and others who had previously failed the exam" is suspect. It can mean "over first trial female applicants and retrial applicants" or "over retrial female and male applicants". It is likely to be the former, but the possibility of it being the latter is not to be ignored.

keep it simple

females 8.28%, had passed. The pass rate among 2,202 male candidates was 7.72%.

Women don't want insecure losers
They smell the insecurity, even the ugly ones

You will never gain enough self esteem to lose your virginity
I bet you would be to afraid to have sex with a prostitute.

The gov needs to have sex therapists on medicare to keep the likes of yu from running down women in a van

To be wanted by women is as much a curse as a blessing unless you are unambiguously a member of the power elite who can’t be touched and can throw as much money at your problems as you need.

It’s all fun and games until someone gets pregnant, then you either have to be the asshole and strong arm her into an abortion or your life is fucking over.

These crazy bitter incel types are mostly young men in their teens and twenties being dragged around by the nose by their hormones, and who think getting between a woman’s legs is the solution to life’s problems and not the beginning.

As if they'll reproduce when every facet of japanese reality is strongly against not becoming a genetic dead end.

Goddammnit Japs, we're counting on you to make anime real.

So what was the reason cited by the university for trying to keep women out in the first place?

I wonder what the rate of female doctors leaving the medical profession entirely or leaving then coming back in only a part-time position is? I remember reading once that, in the UK at least, the number of female doctors leaving the field entirely after only working 3-5 years was increasing. Maybe the original rigging of the tests or purposely denying women entry in the first place had something to do with this.
