How Do I Become Catholic

underage user here with atheist parents, I want to become Catholic and get baptized and such but don't really know how to go about it as my parents are anti-Catholic. I also have a lot of social anxiety so I wouldn't really know who to talk to there or anything, really. Advice?

I'll pray that God will guide back to His church soon user.

Stop trusting in your works and get saved by believing on the Lord Jesus Christ.

CATHOLIC LIES VS. THE BIBLE:
(Make sure you look up these verses in the KJV, not a corrupt modern perversion!)

Works salvation? Salvation is by faith alone in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus (John 3:16, Acts 16:30-31, Ephesians 2:8-9)
Baptizing babies? You must believe before being baptized (Acts 6:36-37)
Purgatory? Hell is everlasting, not temporary (Matthew 25:46)

Priests in long clothing? Jesus said to beware of them (Luke 20:46-47)
Calling priests father? That's God's title only (Matthew 23:9)
Bishops who aren't married? A bishop must be married (1 Timothy 3:2)

Statues of Jesus/Mary/Saints? That's idolatry (Exodus 20:4-5)
Praying the rosary? That's vain repetitions (Matthew 6:7)
Abstaining from meat on Good Friday? That's a doctrine of devils (1 Timothy 4:1-3)
Jesus had long hair? Long hair on a man is a sin, Jesus is without sin (1 Corinthians 11:14)

Praying to Mary? Jesus is the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5)
Mary the mother of God? Jesus existed before Mary (Revelation 1:8)
Mary remained a virgin? Jesus had half-brothers (Matthew 13:55)
Mary is the queen of heaven? The queen of heaven is a pagan false god (Jeremiah 7:18)

He's full cringe, even for a protestant.

I haven't been on this board for about 3 years, pretty disappointing that it's still just /catholic/ but I'm not surprised. Wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat.

Btw, Independent Baptists aren't Protestant. Why would we protest against something that has been wicked and false from the beginning? The Catholic Church can't be fixed, it's a false religion created by Roman pagans in the 4th century.

You better believe on Jesus Christ for your salvation, or you will be damned.
Jesus died for your sins, was buried, and rose again from the dead - he did that to save you.
All you have to do is stop trusting in yourselves, and trust in what Jesus did for you instead.
This is the truth and I say it in love, I care for your souls!

Please, just watch the video I posted and call upon the name of the Lord today.
I'll leave you all with one more Bible verse, for I wish not to debate, it's 2 Corinthians 11:3.
"But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ."
Being saved truly is simple, just believe and receive. Don't let Satan beguile you by making you think you have to earn it.

Nah, many of us are Orthodox.

Unironically explains the increase in board quality.
I was wondering yesterday how long it had been since the Great Shitpost from a while back when we had one or two autistic presbies and a whole lot of baptist shitposters.
I thought they were all contained in their containment thread though.

That's what I said, /catholic/

You can enjoy your vanities and rituals in peace now. Sensual, having not the spirit.

This is why Protestantism is a complete meme, your entire denomination is fundamentally flawed because everything Prots object to was found in the Catholic Church before the Bible was compiled

If you knew anything about history, you'd know that Constantine created the Catholic Church in 313 AD in order to unify the Romans under a Universal (or in Latin, 'Catholic') religion. He mixed a few Christian ideas with a whole lot of Roman pagan ideas, and that's what Catholicism is. Another example is how Catholics worship 'patron saints', just like the Romans had their patron gods. And Catholics worship Mary like the Romans worshiped Isis.

Wrong. Unlike you, I believe the Bible is the word of God, not the words of men who like wearing dresses. I agree to a certain extent that they compiled it, but God has always used unsaved men to perform his will.

Your parents will probably not make it easy for you, which is of course hard at first.
But maybe it is an opportunity for you to be a better example then what they hear about everyday (in the news, especially about sodomite priests).
When you are ready to do so, visit mass in your vicinity (maybe on a less busy day than Sunday, depending on your own interest).
You can inform yourself beforehand about the liturgy, just don't receive the Eucharist.
Try to speak to the priest afterwards and just talk a bit. He will be glad to help you out.

Glory to God in the highest.

Catholic is a greek word, and it's been used before Constantin.
The first Christian Saints (believers, martyrs, missionaries, whatever constitutes a Saint (biblical word) for you) were apparently taught every thing wrong by the same apostles you read about in your King James Version.

May Christ unite us all in the verity of the Catholic Faith.

Go to Church and talk to the priest after Mass. You can also grab a newsletter or check the website and email them.

Ah, the Constantine meme! I see you are a meme merchant as well. (((Keep up the good work, brother!)))

T. Bible believing prot that has never read the book of Kings

A shame that Christendom was restricted to the Roman Empire, and there were no christians living outside it, that could have evolved independently, and show us what real historical Christianity looks like.

Rome is historical Christianity. God chose Rome over Persia and Alexander for a reason.

You completely missed my point.

Evil trees do not bear good fruit, how can a good fruit (The infallible word of God) come from a supposedly evil tree (The Catholic Church in your opinion)?

Than stop beating around the bush and get to the point.

Not him, but the fact that non-Roman historical Christian traditions look nothing alike ifb cults completely btfos the "muh Constantine" argument spewed by them.
