Started brainstorming this earlier in response to FreeBSD's new and improved e-hugs = rape CoC. I don't have the nitty gritty worked out entirely, but the idea is to have a fork of FreeBSD called FreiBSD, in which tokens are distributed for commits, for useful contributions to the integrated git repo, and server uptime using the OS. Tokens can be sold, or burned to use distributed services over the network (drawing on InfernoOS for some of this code) and blockchain services. So think of the machines running this OS as the citizens, the network as the reich, and the crypto as the reichsmark, backed by labor and industry. I figure by rewarding productivity and involvement in the community, as well as having a flexible and useful token, would be enough to get people on board. Of course, the other purpose is to piss off FreeBSD enough to generate enough negative publicity to ensure its success.
Initial steps shouldn't be too difficult - it's starting as a fork, after all, and an erc20 take like a half an hour to get published, which can switch upon launch from a coin to a usable token, a la vechain.
Not here to shill, just wanted some input and some ideas. I don't think something like this has been attempted so far, and there's a lot of possibilities in integrating blockchain tech into an OS.
Bundled with the OS will be a browser called FuhrerFox. Among its many features, it will drop a gold star badge on any website owned or run by jews, and will have (((coincidence mode))) on by default. Stakeholders will require DNA tests, of course.
I figure I could get a bare bones alpha distro up in about a month, and I figure this could foster a good, meritocratic community of developers immune to LGBTech bullshit. For individually we are weak, like a single twig, but as a bundle, we form a mighty faggot. Any suggestions? Anyone interested in getting in at the ground floor? What other aspects and ideas from National Socialism and Fascism could be implemented in this project? What should the Code of Conduct look like?

I think I fucked up the wording. Contributing to the OS itself earns tokens, but the mining isn't done on the individual computers - the algorithm crunching will be done on the centralized nodes; the tokens will be distributed based on productive output.
It kinda has to be, because one of the primary purposes is it being a middle finger to FreeBSD. But that's just a starting point. I much prefer OpenBSD, but, well, it's a political statement I guess.

I guess I'll make a private pastebin or something. DLing the source of FreeBSD tonight and I guess I'm just gonna start parsing huge chunks of it. I'll probably publish the coin later this month, but until then it's still in the brainstorming stage. Once we get the general idea hammered out we can move into specifics... I have experience with systems programming and blockchain programming, but I'll also be looking for ppl who can help with the nitty gritty. Eventually what we'll need to move forward is something halfway between a whitepaper and Mein Kampf.
The initial alpha probably won't be much more than a wallet built into a FreeBSD clone with swastikas and eagles with an antisemitic ffox clone, but with a manifesto in place it should be enough to get some attention.
Bringing together a solid, initial base of non-Jewish developers is a good benchmark goal.
I'm going to bed soon so i can't really help right now but i'll see what i can do when i wake up. One idea i have for the system is to design everything more or less around nazi ideals. So everything from a filesystem to any changes made to the inner workings would be designed with thst in mind.
That's the plan. FreeBSD is just the jumping off point, but it'll all eventually get overhauled. From the ground up, I want the operating system - and the distributed network and crypto - to be modeled after nazi germany. Too many ancaps running around like crypto is their unicorn, too many gnu commies acting like muh gommunism works any better for tech than it does for a gov.
Interesting idea, but it's FreeBSD. We could always make the custom software running on it cross platform to help with ease of getting development resources.

Commits to the OS are verified by the vNASDAP, at which point tokens are released. For other commits, tokens are awarded by ratio of unique downloads. If you commit a bunch of shit and nobody uses it, you get nothing. Ideally, it should encourage people to commit useful code.

Reminder that you're gonna have to do like 99.999% of development all on your own. Most of Zig Forums can't program, and most of those who can don't care about your meme project enough to take time out of their days to help you, and most of those who will care won't care until there's a usable OS to contribute to.
That's why the most important thing for you to do right now is to get a usable OS available for download as soon as possible. Start by re-branding FreeBSD, then throw it up on gitgud or make your own site to host it. From there you'll be able to work on and integrate your custom ideas at your leisure, all the while hopefully receiving help from other devs who are attracted by results.
Oh, and your idea of an integrated network/crypto will be useless without a decently sized userbase for it. Once that's running, you may want to port it to a GNU/Linux program and possibly make a version without NatSoc branding

Your coin reward system is broken by the way. If I get paid for uptime I'll create thousands of VMs and get rich since the majority of users will not also do this. If you only get paid for contributing code/docs you will receive the super majority of coins, leaving out the capibility to earn coins from the majority of your userbase.

Look, I hate the FreeBSD CoC and I'm opposed to CoCs in general, but what do you really expect to accomplish with this?
