I have been using gitlab for literally years and this has never happened. I have used AWS and GCE for years and this has never happened. So yes this shit does work.

Well user in that case you can take the open source / free software gitlab source and run it on your own hardware. I'm sure glad gitlab exists for reasons like this.

But it gets deleted before you can download it as the github/gitlab/sourceforge scan for hashes of certain files (((they))) don't like like the purism stuff and delete it on upload.
