It also looks like we'll get to see MacOS 10.14. Too bad Pixels have PWM flicker. (but I've heard that latest iphones also have this problem, so when both choices have shit displays, there's hardly any other redeeming point in an iphone) It seems I were lucky to get Nexus 5X before they were finally out of stock. It uses face mapping to apply your expressions to an animated character. At a technical level it's quite clever, since they can do it in real time, it just happens to be absolutely retarded.
I just read this comment on the animoji movie >... and yes, people still use Animoji. Beyond the obvious — kids using it for fun, I'm 38 and I use them as reaction stickers instead of Emoji. Rather than hunt down an emoji to fit my reaction, I make the face in Animoji and drag the sticker to the iMessage chat window. Much faster, customizable and fun.
