This is common in certain languages used by major financial institutions. It is also very common in theorem proving languages. Shit like that is really not a big deal. The main annoyance is setting up your keyboard bindings to deal with it.

I would not use Rust with or without it :^). I have used unicode in a few languages that require it though.
