My group of co-workers and I don't give a fuck about politics when we are at work. It's really fucking simple and I don't know how most offices fail to implement this basic yet life-changing improvement.

I don't want to have to have to join botnets like Slack, Discord or Gmail to message coworkers. Even passing collage forces me to use Facebook Messenger due to group projects where you have to build many short term relationships.
I'm likely going to join every single non-botnet communication/social service and only communicate through those or non-third-party tools. Will that cause me to lose many jobs in tech?

Yes, however if everyone I email uses Gmail then all my emails and their content are correlated with one email address in Google's archives. It's better than nothing but it's not good.
