Eric S. Raymond ripped off the style when he "revised" the Jargon File. The UNIX ones make you cringe because they ran it into the ground. It's like Reddit with rage face memes.

To clarify, I'm and I agree. Those koans are the very few I mentioned that are good and that one in particular is one you can even share in casual conversation.

I prefer the AI lab koans to the old koans about Mu and Ganto's axe and other Eastern things I find nonsensical.
