OK, so Arctic Fox is based on Firefox 38 ESR / Pale Moon 27 and TenFourFox on 45 ESR, both heavily patched. I can buy earlier mozillas being faster but web 3.0 is demanding garbage.

I'm not exaggerating. Arctic Fox is unironically faster with this G3 on Debian, than TFF is on my Powerbook G4 1.67 GHz with Tiger. TFF is just a bloated pile of crap.

I use umatrix on both, to block scripts that aren't necessary to website functionality. It makes a huge difference.
