As for manufacturing, the US was already the largest manufacturing power prior to WW1, the world wars just made it have 50% of the world's GDP rather than 20%.
Even today the US have 2.7 times the total industrial output of China. Hell Germany right now has more industrial output than China in real terms. The Chinks cook there books to a ridiculous degree by double counting imports and exports. The real issue is the US exporting components like integrated circuits and plastic pellets which are sent to China because the Chinks can't be trusted to make their own without adding lead to them to make them solidify quicker and then building the computer out of components before exporting the finished product.
Tariffs would solve that easily and they would destroy this global economy which benefits urbanites and kikes. There is no downside to any western nation.

The country really didn't have a founding ethos but was created by warrior classes(like Cavaliers) and various mercenaries who got left out in the cold after the wars in Europe died down(mostly Germans). These bitter expats formed their own states and communities within them and just gave few shits unless bothered. Their insular nature both makes them nearly immune to the poison of modernity but also very difficult to motivate in opposition to it as they suffer few of its detrimental effects. Today rural white Americans are the only significant population in any developed nation which breed above replacement rate consistently. Even spics and saracens drop below replacement rate after the first generation, hence the need of the kikes and libshits to import more constantly.
