therefore, not all masons are honest

Still missing the point. Anybody, mason or otherwise, would be punished for breaking the law and then lying under oath. If you are implying that the masons were responsible for his arrest, perhaps that is the case, but also must recognize that multiple other masons committed crimes and lied under oath. At best, the score is 1:1

I don't even have anything against Freemasons in particular, like I said before they are probably mostly honest guys. I just think the model of "secret societies" isn't exactly conducive with stable, functional societies (which is apparently the goal)
