Ehhh yes and no. Should we work with others to advance or own agenda, yes. Should we be actively interfering through the use of warfare to achieve those goals, arguable.
I don’t condemn the US for working with Israel. I do condem warfare and regime change for what seems unnecessary st this point, and Trump hopefully realizes that as well.
What allies do we need in the middle east? We are about to become completely energy-independent due to the fracking boom we’ve seen. There is plenty of food grown, natural resources are aplenty, and the population is stable.
Our only goal as a country with regards to foreign affairs should probably be containing China, that’s about it.
