I cannot remember where I read or heard the story but I did hear about someone being penpals with him. It wasn't a white nationalist or even a supporter really but more just someone writing him because of how well known the case was. They said he didn't seem like the brightest guy in the world based off his letters and said he spent much of his time now reading and writing/sending/receiving letters from penpals, who he claimed to have many of from various parts of the world, some of these finacially assisting him ad well.
