I don’t wanna sound like an oldfag, but I do think it’s a case of the damn internet. My point is, everything has to give eventually, and in the days before the internet, or arguably before most of modern media, if a guy wasn’t getting women, he didn’t sit around complaining, he did something about it and improved himself.
