Most identity Christians are quasi evolutionists and believe in a local flood. The text of Genesis does not allow for a local flood. A local flood would not accomplish God's purpose in killing everything that breaths, and would make the making of an Ark nonsensical when all Noah had to do was migrate away from the flood location.
