Maybe this is just in the UK but rightists here are almost exclusively sweaty, beer-bellied middle-aged divorced men who ere either balding or skinheads. Leftists on the other hand tend to either be young and healthy or old guard. At least in my experience the more politically involved they are the more likely they are to be straight edge.
