I recon Australia's economy going to get fucked pretty soon. Us Aussie leftist need to be ready so that when it happens, Australia moves to left and we end up with an /ourguy/ instead of a Trump. Conservatives are already becoming more reactionary (Dutton is pretty much alt-right) but the "left" are only using populist rhetoric.
I think you underestimate how reactionary Australia can be. Just look at all the stupid African gang shit in Victoria and the South African farmer marches in Adelaide. Australians are pretty spooked, so even a semi-class conscious prole would vote for a fascist if they think that "Aussie culture is under attack!"
