I think this time "the dance" is over. The political status quo that enabled NK to dance along those sorts of lines of ambiguity is breaking down, if it isn't completely gone already.
IMO NK's overtures of reconciliation with SK are legitimate, especially in the face of the US's blatantly illegal disregard for international law, domestic political opinion, or the efforts/opinions of the UN.

It may draw international ire, but if they hope to keep John Bolton from destroying decades of nuclear deterrence strategy by having a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of America's nuclear capabilities, they're fools.
I'm not begging for anyone to get more nukes, we need less, but if the strategy here is deterrence, they're very naive. Maybe when all these boomer John Bolton clones (and Bolton himself) die sure, it will work. Nobody wants to launch a nuke, no matter how much you hate your enemy, it's a last possible option weapon, not an offensive weapon.
America can let its nation get attacked if it means six nukes. I'm serious,stopping production now is a terrible idea, because it gives America a reason to attack since it sees this as weakness.
Maybe I'm just cynical, maybe this was part of South Korea's peace agreement, maybe one day this will lead to seperated families reuniting and it will all be happily ever after.
