What doesn't translate well with subtitles is the way he speaks. He uses words that are not used since the 20's.
That's why he's made fun of. He has a pseud tier way of talking

Accidentally came across this interesting interview with a Hungarian marxist (from what I grasped he's a leftcom) if anyone cares: arbetet.se/2015/09/26/gaspar-miklos-tamas-this-is-post-fascism/

There was a Hungarian woman where I used to work three years ago in England. I've never talked politics with her, but once, while she was talking about Little Mongolia with others, she embarked in a kind of short but sharp rant against the government… I don't remember the reason, but I'm sure she was no Orbanista!

I was about to come up with the name of the guy, but you've been quicker! I'm a Wop - I guess you are too - and I cannot help but draw a comparison between him and Cacciari or Galimberti. Both quite apocalyptic thinkers, yet more than willing to play by the rules of the system. And reap all the benefits of it… I mean, many people think Žižek is a clown, but you don't see him every week at the BBC or CNN or France 2 commenting on the petty politicking of the day.

Getting back to Orban, it's quite clear his rhetoric is now full fascist, with just a couple of adaptations for the world of today:
1) stand by your zionist, but fuck all the other jooz;
2) sperg about "muh globalizm", but don't put into question American hegemony (because of "muh Nato") or being part of the EU (because of "gib me monee").

I know rightists have low lQ. But they must know that Stalin purged 97% of the Bolsheviks in the 1930s. The right use the term "Bolshevik" like a slur but don't know what it means or what happened to them. I think they are trying to use "Bolshevik" as a term like "Nazi" but it just doesn't work. Makes it seem like they don't know history.

How corrupt are Orban and his ilk? To me it just sounds like he's spouting whatever he believes will make him popular, which happens to be outrageous ethno-nationalism at the moment.

I don't know if you're joking or false flagging

Ehy man. I remeber you. Aren't you the guy from rome? I had an insight when you talked about england, you said you went abroad for a while last thread.
Also yes, those are buffoons way way more than Fusaro. Fusaro is a pseud with interesting ideas at least and the balls to talk shit about liberalism to the point of making zizek look like Hilary Clinton. On the contrary both Cacciari and Galiberti are pseud discount intellectuals that are there on television throwing hot takes and common knowledge masked as highbrow intellectualism.
Our country is full of pseudo marxist that sold out at the first chance now that I think about it.

You said that. Lack of grey matter. And an attempt to appeal to emotion. In this case, the big red bogeyman called "Bolshevism".

Not an authority on Little Mongolia, but Iirc he's changed his positions on a lot of things countless times. Anyway, the simple fact he's talking like that now indicates that he feels overconfident he can get away with everything. I guess he wouldn't have talked like that just three or four years ago.
I also understand that his economic policies are designed to appease the national porkoeisie and petty porkoeisie. You can imagine what kind of quid pro quo is at play here.

How? The right love to say "Jewish Bolsheviks" and snowing proof Stalin pretty much killed all the Bolsheviks debunks that right wing fantasy.
