Now recalculate that but add in every store manager, assistant store manager and all profits and dividends distributed to major stockholders plus board of directors.
Josiah Wright
of course leftypol neets think fucking managers are rolling cash.
Caleb Bennett
we're not exactly redistributionists here but the company makes billions in profit each year retard there's more people profiting than just the CEO
And their shareholders get a profit of $127bn per year. Do the math with THAT and what you end up with is each worker getting an extra $61,000 per year.
It's not about CEO pay, dipshit. It's about all the wealth that is extracted from working people to enrich an idle few.
Elijah Rodriguez
Yeah and the biggest chunk of those billions goes to employee pay and logistics. Not to the top brass.
Xavier Bailey
Fug, shitposting flag.
Sebastian Brown
It's not about whether they are rolling in cash or not, they are relative to the workers, but whether they or not they are needed.
Nathaniel Bell
Profit is after employee pay expenses you absolute retard
Jose Thompson
lmao walmart has literally millions of shareholders, wtf
Aiden Mitchell
dense are you okay profit comes AFTER expenses are paid they made like 10 billion in profit in 2016
Yeah just like what all those socialist countries throughout history managed to do.
You're literally having to advocate something that hasn't been accomplished even then a majority of the country was on the socialists' side just to defend the lunacy of wealth redistribution.
Parker Price
So what is your solution, succdem-kun?
Easton Russell
first of all, that's not even what I said, I implied getting rid of capitalist stock bullshit and markets controlling people's lives and second of all am I talking to fucking muke right now or something
Ok, redistrubute those 10 dudes' wealth too. Now all walmart employees get an extra $100 for a year. Yaaay, in about 10 years they can all put a downpayment on a halfway decent car.
Aaron Watson
One guy out of millions, and one company out of thousands. Redistribute all of that, ordinary people will have 5x much than now.
Adam Clark
...
Nicholas Diaz
And now do that with millions of people like them. Adds up, you moron?
Hey, succdem-kun, how isn't your ideology either an even less radical version of market socialism at best, or capitalism with a social safety net at worst?
Oliver Thomas
Not really. Walmart is one of the most profitable companies in the world and redistributing all their wealth won;t even make a difference for the people they employ.
The world has 7 billion people in it and not even 2 million can be covered by what Walmart makes. How many multi-billion dollar companies do you think there are?
The US yearly GDP is 19 trillion. If we divide that up amongst the entire world, that gives everyone $2.7k for an entire year.
For a *year*. Fucking dishwashers make 10x that in a year.
Alexander Adams
...
Ayden Reed
Yes really, take whatever average wealth statistic and you'll see how much majority of people would gain if they shared equally everything.
And you too, cuck. You think if you suck his dick he will marry you?. Have you chosen the wedding dress yet?.
Tyler Harris
The wealth of the richest 8 people in the world is equal to the bottom 4 billion on this planet
Nathan Ross
Boy you stupid manipulative bitch you.
Nicholas Gutierrez
Actually, you know what? No. Do you really, genuinely think socialism is just about taking back porky's profits? Read literally anything with regards to economics or politics, it'll be an improvement.
Well gee, what if we employed everyone able to work in meaningful, productive labor? I wonder what would happen to their standards of living!
Well that's a shame. If only it was possible to use that money to give those four billion people the means to be self sufficient, the means of producing what they live… the means of production.
Everyone's poor if there's no food, regardless of how many pieces of paper with $ on them they have.
Brody Ward
Wrong that mean the will be 4 billion people that just double their financial situation
Nathaniel Flores
Because without those 8 people no one in the world would ever make food
Adam Thompson
kys. Socialists want to redistribute means of production NOT money. But even if walmart did that, wallmart made profit 9.86B dollars last year. That would be extra almost 4700 dollars per employee per year, or almost 390 dollars per month. That is pretty nice sum of money, and you can add those CEO salaries and manager salaries to further increase it.
Holy shit succdem, you're starting to get it. I can see the gears turning in that little peabrain of yours.
Justin Richardson
CAPITALISM
Hunter Gomez
RAGING ☭TANKIE☭ MODE ENGAGED THE SAME FUCKING SYSTEM THAT HAS BEEN BUTTFUCKING MOTHER NATURE IN THE ASS FOR 90 YEARS THE SAME ONE THAT'S BEEN BLEEDING US ALL DRY THE SAME FUCKING SYSTEM THAT'S BROUGHT SUCH SUFFERING AND WON'T STOP TILL WE"RE ALL DEAD CAPITALISM FOOL
Even hunter-gatherer societies had/have food. And also treated shelter as a necessity since no hunter-gatherer society would ever allow private land holdings and the ownership of a bunch of shit you don't use.
Now, think about what modern, industrial production would be like if all of the wealth was in the hands of laborers and ownership of was determined practically. You co-own the factory you work in, own the profit your labor produces, and you own your own house because there's nobody to buy the block and keep the prices high. And unlike a hunter/gatherer society, there are methods to increase the amount of necessities available.
But note this isn't the same thing as moving some fucking money around.
Jeremiah Butler
There were never billions of people in one hunter-gatherer tribe, dumbass. And even then a lot of them died from hunger and disease.
Jayden Lewis
way to ignore the rest of the post you illiterate dipshit
Grayson Adams
Just one question
Should the guy supervising all the workers get the same percentage of a copmpany's ownership as the janitor?
Ayden Garcia
There's more than enough food to feed the entire world; foodfirst.org/publication/world-hunger-ten-myths/ We're going to seize the means of production, farms are an example of food production. Also your succdem policies won't work because the first world's wealth is caused by exploiting the third world; scarcity isn't the problem, the indigenous workers of the third world can't reasonably afford to buy the food they produce for us under capitalism enough to live healthy, if at all, considering the rates of starvation. Why don't YOU look at Africa, Asia, and Latin America?
Please explain how one would feasibly ship, process, and distribute food to all starving people.
Jeremiah Sullivan
Have any of you actually held jobs before?
People are not a hivemind, there needs to be somebody who has to know what's happening at all parts of production and make decisions when issues arise.
Unless you believe the people at the assembly line, the people at shipping, IT, etc. will all come together in a kumbaya circle every hour and reach a mutually agreed-upon solution for things like when there's a problem with the machinery, that the delivery truck is behind schedule, when some guy keeps showing up to work late, etc it's not gonna fucking work without central organizers.
David Rogers
people can organize without a ceo "directing" things around
managers =/= leaders, of course certain people will natural arise in any democratic setting as a leader for various reasons, but the point of a worker run factory, is that the leader is himself one of the workers, not some overlord who does zero work yet claims to deserve a bigger pay check then those actually making the value for the company. Look at it this way, if all the managers of McDonald didn't show up one day, would every store close down and every worker go home because they don't know what to do? Or would they know from actually having done the task before and continue doing it for their paycheck, dealing with any problems as they come. Now what would happen if none of the workers would show up and only the managers?
Dominic Morgan
Ok so that's a "no" to my question.
If the group-appointed "leader" is working in the mail room the whole time there's no way he's gonna be able to coordinate between all arms of production.
Evan Allen
He coordinates for the factory he works in, and communicates with the other factories if they have worker representatives as well. Is this too hard to understand? One person does not coordiante for every single factory in the province.
