PP are just lolcow larpers pretending they care about jesus. The real fascists are cop union picnics, see the recent protest at an ICE worker picnic where ICE agents' families got harassed by protesters. That's the good shit, not playing grabass with retards.

...

They are fascists who pretend to care about jesus. They deserve to be punished for it. Also who cares about "real" fascists. If someone advocates fascism or reactionary politics by another name, they are a fascist and should be dealt with accordingly.

TV is basically dead at this point, once Comcast assumes Fox most media in America will be owned by ISPs, Disney will be the only exception and the most vulnerable as traditional TV and movies stop making money.

Related is the mobile carrier market, T-Mobile and Sprint are guaranteed to merge now meaning there will only be three players. Once that happens, it's only a matter of time before AT&T decides to eat one of them then Comcast. The FTC will approve it all and give AT&T a near total monopoly on American telecommunications and media services. Ma Bell Lives.

any time spent throwing eggs at retards bitching about jesus is better spent figuring out where ICE agents' kids go to school and standing outside their house with a sign telling them god hates them

might as well fight fire with fire

it's not just TV now. AT&T and Comcast will practically be allowed to decide what news the general public gets, even on the internet. It's just fucking dystopic

It's going back to the early 80s when AT&T controlled most telecommunications and there were only three TV channels. Zig Forums will get their 80s renaissance but in a way that will lead to their destruction (if NN truly dies, Zig Forums is the first thing to die once content standards and codes of conduct are introduced for webmasters).

I will post another headline I feel is relevant if that is okay…

fuck

Inb4 this was all just an excuse for Trump to meet Kim

Can someone explain what's going on in Yemen right now? BBC article is predictably useless and propagandistic. For such a long time the Houthis have held out quite easily, but now they are being attacked from the south, reportedly by a UAE cfinanced force, most likely mercenaries and shit.

What happened that allowed them to approach Hodeida? Has the starvation just grown so much that the houthis are extremely weakened? Is there any chance to keep fighting if the city is lost? If the houthis were to surrender is there any hope that the Saudis would do anything other than just watch as Yemenis keep starving to death?

Paging some expert

Totally not trying to consolidate the spotlight should a non-Democrat start getting popular. It's like they don't even care anymore.

Comcast bids $65 billion for 21st Century Fox assets

cnbc.com/2018/06/13/comcast-bids-65-billion-for-21st-century-fox-assets.html

like clockwork

yes this has been the Saudi strategy all along because they are shit fighters and are relying on the US blockade

The whole country is lost, yet the people endure. In seriousness the famine will just continue until so many are dead there are not any soldiers, even child soldiers, left to take up arms against the Saudi-backed forces. This would be a foolproof plan if it wasn't for the fact that wherever rebels fail ISIS is able to seep in and setup terrorist cells, which will expand into uniformed forces once Saudi-backed troops leave.

Ultimately the war will continue, especially as concerns over Iraq's stability arise again. The only thing that stops it is internal conflict/strife within the Saudi regime itself, but few outside the west have any solid idea on how large the potential for a civil war is there.

They don't care about progressive views and have been very open about this. If you check the actual rhetoric Democrat leaders believe they lost not due to populism but because of Russian media manipulation and Russian-friendly progressives forcing candidates to the left on issues like healthcare or student loans. Going into 2018 and 2020 their primary concerns are going to be "moderate" immigration reform, gun control, and car emissions laws. Trump's approval of Medicare expansion for better or worse prevents them from using that as bait for voters, meanwhile Trump's tariffs prevent them from courting manufacturing workers.

To top Democrats progressives are just this loud, annoying voice that prevents them from winning swing districts, even though these swing districts all voted for Trump because he advocated a progressive policy (trade reform). Their primary goal right now is to be the "sober" party where there is no populism or radicalism. They want all the radicals to fuck off because they don't consider them worth while.

iraq's stability? Did you mean Yemen? What does Iraq have to do with this?

What sort of faction could there possibly be in the Saudi elite that would oppose the war in Yemen? Aren't the conflicts on the elite level superficial bullshit, similar to what you would see in a 17th century European royal court?

Or is the risk for civil war in Saudi more a question of the poor minorities, (mostly shia I imagine) rising up against the upper classes

based on the Radio war nerd episode from a few weeks ago it sounded like the main concern of the ISIS/Al qaeda people in Eastern yemen was to genocide the shias in Yemen. Unfortunately it seems as if the Saudis have done extremely well since the grand mosque seizure to turn radical jihad into a weapon against their enemys. i would love nothing more than to see Al-Qaeda attack the corrupt Saudi elites

extremely grim event, this might be the worst thing that is happening this decade

In 50 years when people talk about how that black Obama guy was a pretty non-evil president I will be able to tell them that, nope, actually he was compicit in the little reported horrific genocide of shia-muslims in yemen.

Total western backing, no media coverage what so ever. The western press and media is as worthless as it has ever been. Fuck this shit is depressing

Very thick fog of war. There are reports on the one hand of the Houthi's cutting supply lines of the attacking forces and sinking a troopship. On the other hand, reports of strong air strikes, and US involvement on the Coalition side. Also reports of a strong attack by the supposedly cut-off forces. With the necessary resupply by the sea and air by the Americans, all these things might be true at the same time.

Attached: 1475943915001.jpg (1199x689, 114.9K)

That state is going to utterly destroy itself and if there is any success in the split among them, it'll be a lie perpetuated by a minority.

That's good though. The democratic party is the graveyard of all significant sociopolitical movements. Entryism should be discouraged.

If Iraq falls to bits then Saudis and America have to commit more resources to dealing with that situation in the north, both aircraft and men. Saudi Arabia is so incompetent they can't fight two fronts on opposite sides of their country, so a situation in Iraq would help Yemeni rebels. It would also strain US forces which are unlikely to see large garrisons unless the Korean situation is able to wrap up quickly.

The ISIS faction that wants control over Mecca so they can use the pilgrimage as a way to brainwash, train, and recruit new members from all around the world.

yep, this is their plan for Iraq's shias too hence why they did not retreat when confronted. Also if there's an incident in Iraq that threatens Iraq's basic stability, their new shia leader will probably ask Iran for help and create a fucking mess of American foreign policy. Overall this whole thing, the entire middle east, is a slow motion car crash and the piles of starved bodies is just more collateral damage.

Thinking Bell Labs is the same as it was when they were brought out by AT&T is just sad.

yeah I suppose that's the problem, houthis can cut off and encircle the enemy but if they are hugging the coastline it doesn't matter, fuck

I'd love to see Soleimani ride into town and bring with him a couple hundred Iranian artillery pieces. I doubt the houthis have more than AKs and RPGs. probably some missiles to fuck with the navys outside their coast

cool image btw

The blockade is a pain in this regard to. One hopes they could smuggle in things via Oman - the rulers there like to keep everyone their friend.

Also, I don't know if you know, but the image is a reference to an earlier instances where Houthi coastal missile batteries sunk a UAE chartered ship carrying troops. Afterwards, US warships destroyed all know batteries under a flimsy pretext of having been targeted.

thanks for the answer, nice to get a larger geopolitical view of it

I didn't realize iraq was still so volatile, I would have thought the Saudis had given up on the Iraq after the defeat of ISIS and being absolutely useless in Yemen

one thing that I take solace from is that the new iraqi government seems pretty cool, Shias and communists, what more can you ask for?

I love to imagine an American general seeing that communists and shias (secret iranians according to Americans) won the election and getting an existential crisis and asking if it really was good to bring democracy to Iraq

Don't worry, they'll get their comeuppance in the form of the inevitable siege of Baghdad by Islamist forces. Islamofascism is the only constant in the region and the only one with any real durability, eventually it will spread from Iraq into Saudi Arabia and instigate a global crisis as oil supplies are disrupted meanwhile the holy city of Islam gets taken over by people who explicitly hate the west and will use it as a vehicle to train people in destroying the west from within. This will contribute greatly to the decline of the current world order, especially if they manage to do a big enough terrorist attack in the west.

Which is what the end of this road is: the oil getting shut off and the west moving on from the mideast, which will gradually form into something capable of fighting the west symmetrically. But this is decades from now.

Attached: mission accomplished.jpg (650x375, 65.75K)

Dunno if i agree with this. Perhaps Im just too much of an optimist. The arab world will become more unified sooner or later. It's a pretty standard historical pattern I suppose. When it does i just hope it will be around something nicer than Islamo fascism

What comes around goes around and they all will pay for their parts.

Iraq won't ever not be fixed because the only stable thing is radical Islam. As America tries drawing down troops for the THIRD time (first was '04, second '11) IS will reoccupy regions where they are already operating as a mafia, which is outside of what combat forces (Saudi, American, ISF) can handle. At some point Americans will just get frustrated and walk off, creating the situation that befell Iraq 2012-16 when ISIS was fast growing in the power vacuum.

Not much but figure that once fighting begins again this will force Iraq into an alliance with Iran, a thing that will piss off Trump and cause America to end all support for Baghdad while also causing Israel to bomb Iraqi positions in the western part of the country, further accelerating ISIS's spread. The end stage of this is an uncontrolled ISIS buffer state being built between Israel and Iran, assuming Israel doesn't just bomb Iran directly and cause ISIS to grow there. Ultimately it's all stupid and self destructive, and it all happens because Americans are fucking retarded and ==refuse== to stop Israel.

yeah, unified with Islam. Israel's annexation of Jerusalem plays right into this as does Netanyahu's attacks on Iran's moderate government, including having Trump kill the Iran Deal which was a black eye to moderates and pro-western forces within Iran. There is a very small chance of things turning out right simply because Israel has no restrictions placed upon them, meaning they can continue kicking Muslims until only Islamists are left as a legitimate force.

Probably because they really tricked them into believing they are the chosen people of God, when they're not.

Is this before you're dropped out of the helicopter for being commie scum?

Lol, you should hold your tongue. America is communism with ~colors~

Good.. Zig Forums is so high on patriotism right now they deserve everything they think they're doing to Zig Forums

Highly predictable..
They're trying to siphon off conservative votes. Sounds good, won't work.

The military aristocracy and ground sergeants love Trump. Conservative evangelicals are hyped about Kim Jong and Trump making deals. Zig Forums would love Trump if he converted to Judaism and made Suge Knight his Chief of Staff. Wallet voters are wallet voters. Dems won't get the majority SOLELY because they haven't learned that their """electable""" candidates aren't electable. Modern American liberals and progressives are the most unreliable voters who ever existed. You literally have to sink the economy to get them to the polls. They didn't get majorities under GWB until the housing crisis.

Don't worry. They'll run another Carter/Clinton/Kerry/Gore type in 2020. They always do.

It got confirmed, a UAE ship was destroyed

They're very well armed, large portions of the Yemeni Army had defected to them back in '14

Saudis/UAE cannot militarily defeat the Houthis, so they're going to starve the country into submission, probably kill a couple million Yemenis. This has been their tactic of choice anytime they've had to fight Yemen in the past
They got the green light from the US to go ahead with it yesterday

actually reading the article, instead of falling for the clickbait title, nothing he says is wrong. having studied china academically the descriptions he quotes of early 20th century china are entirely accurate. Of course someone would be shocked coming into a world of decidedly wretched hygiene, disease and entirely different customs and almost entirely without modern western style intelligentsia from a rapidly modernizing and "progressing" western world.

This is piece was written because Einsteins socialist beliefs are seeing much more attention.

But 4chan also serves as a containment board. If that goes, they'll run rabbid everywhere else.
