First picture is Cairo, part of the MENA region, not sub-saharan Africa. The second picture must be part of a rich neighborhood, there is no way that kind of living standard is common in African cities. Third pic is Addis Ababa, which has tons of poverty. It ironically used to be quite high in terms of HDI in the 50s but since the population grew it's really bad.
