You can always type Salvia into Yelp search and find out what local shops carry it.

As for me, I was a hardcore material reductionist up until the first time I smoked Salvia. Immediately after exhaling and it started kicking in the thought immediately flashed in my mind "Well this is it, this the end, my life is over, and I'm going back to where I came from before I got put here." I'd say the experience is undeniable. Just like that trip report I just posted did a good job explaining, it felt more real than anything I'd ever lived in my life.
My whole waking life seemed just as real from that view point as a dream looks from my waking life.

We dont have a resource problem, we have an energy problem. If we can somehow create a compact fusion reactor that can provide us with near infinite clean energy at the cheap, then we can tap into the massive amount of resources in near earth asteroids, by way of fusion powered cargo space ships with ion thrusters, which would send resources to space elevators, orbital rings or other mega structures that can cheapen the shipping of materials from space to the surface of earth. Scarcity is an engineering problem

But why though? Those ships would still take as long as recorded civilization up til the present to reach Alpha Centauri.

Thorium MSRs could probably work too.,

Also to you: But why though? Plants are better and way more valuable than metals.

If we could harness fusion energy on that scale the Alcubierre Warp Drive might go from theory to reality. We would have to reach at least Type 2 Civilization

How does the thing not kill who ever rides it?

the people would be safe inside the ship. The warp drive moves space-time AROUND the ship
