"Preventing Sectarianism" is oddly contradictory, for the act of doing so can be seen by the opposition as Sectarianism against them.

Yeah, where to draw the line, I don't know. Even succems can be usefull allies in some situations, maybe when there is an immediate threat (e.g. of repression).

I think the best way to unite infighting groups is an "Anti-" for a common enemy is better than a common goal.

I had said it before, some months ago, I talked to many AfD voters in Germany, mutual respect and not name-calling is the key. I told them that mass-immigration wouldn't be a thing if we in the rich countries would've done our part in treating the countries they come from fairly, wouldn't have intervened in their affairs over and over again, especially when toppling progressive governments and shit you not they agreed on all of that. Being Anti-X is not how you win over people from the other side imo.

The "Anti-" tactic seems to be less about winning the enemy to your side, but uniting your fragmented side to work together.

To win those of the other side you probably have to talk to them and have them adopt a Leftist ideology closest to who they were before, such as Nationalist being Assertists, NazBols, or NatComs; SuccDems become DemSocs; SJWs and RadLibs become AnFem and QueerAns etc.

Once they are generally close to the Far-Left, then you use the "Anti-" tactic to unite these fragments into one common enemy.

Wanting to add to the "talking to AfD" point: they even agreed on that socialism would be a good thing for 3rd world countries to make progress and get out of the Neo-Colonial situation they're stuck in.

What I did NOT is saying everything was perfect in the soviet union, nobody would take you seriously, dunno if you have more success in your countries saying such shit, if I defend the SU I single out the economic development, otherwise Yugoslav Gommunism has much better appeal imo but in spirit of non-sectarianism I shouldn't judge right.

Of cause you have genuine assholes in the right but I'd say it is not the majority and especially name-calling them racists if maybe they only are anti-Islam for examples put them where they are.

I can imagine every tendency has a specific job. ☭TANKIE☭s are the militant vanguard ready to use violence first, DemSocs are attempting to take over governments and convert SuccDems, ⛏️rotskyists are infiltrating the institutions, Anarchists of all types are making autonomous zones anywhere they can, recent converts from Nationalism (who become Asserist and NazBols) can push infighting for the right and may be of use, LeftComs are watching and maybe waiting for the spontaneous revolution, minor tendencies are scratching an existence somewhere.

I think the best and most realistic form of Non-Sectarianism, is not to purge everyone (you can do that if you have the means to in which neither of us do) nor is it to declare one tendency as the best, but to at least agree to fight the enemy first in the variable ways you believe would work before fighting each other.
