Why the FUCK are lefties against 3D printed guns? this is the most communist thing in the fucking world. I have all these friends on fakebook who won't shot up about revolution and in the same breath want the governemnt to take down the blueprints.
What Amazon did taking down the website is a disgrace. These big tech comapnies can suck my fucking dick. Honestly they aren't even that different than the Liberator pistols that were dropped over France during WW2, even less high tech.
I think your talking about red-libs and libs in Generals.
Nolan Cox
The sad fact is that the US far left is mostly red-libs, not even socdems just liberals with a red coat of paint.
Logan Thomas
These guns of you even want to call them that are garbage. One shot of it doesn’t blow up in your hand. CANT YOU SEE WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE!?!! There is probably going to be an assassination attempt with one of these. They steal these plots from movies. Haven’t anyone of you ever seen In the Line of Fire with Clint Eastwood?
That is only done in Japan, and Japan has little need of guns. Japan is an ethnostate. In a higher order ethnostate you can do that. Look at the ethnostates who have shit loads of rape/crime and you'll find your redpill. We need a nation that is white and socialist, just like the Nordic nations who are still Nordic.
Ryan Green
We're not, we're just critical of what is a clear and obvious futurist project launched by Cody Wilson, someone who is heavily involved in the alt-right and a neoreactionary.
Isn't 3D printing still really fucking expensive? How is this dumb gun "the most communist thing in the world." When you can get them for cheap, maybe, but until that moment it's all pure ideology.
Logan Brown
(me) And when the guns are actually dangerous.
Sebastian Scott
I live in europe and you have to pass mental check in order to get gun licence
Easton Ortiz
They are totally fucking impracticable. The plastics used by most all 3D printers is not able to withstand the immense pressure of firing a bullet and will likely start experiencing catastrophic failure after a few shots, and even then their barreling (if they even have any) is usually very poorly done resulting in poor accuracy. It doesn't even get through metal detectors like advertised because you need fucking metal bullets to shoot. If caseless ammunition was less of a meme it might be *slightly* useful, but as it stands now I doubt it would be effective even with subsonic rounds, some of the weakest ass bullets you can get your hands on. If you want a gun go buy one second-hand so it won't be as easy to track or make your own at home you lazy fucks.
Carter Turner
They do not have a theoretical kill-rate of about 600 dead pigs and porkies a minute yet.
You don't see the implications of the court case. This liberator gun may be retarded and the current additive manufacturing technologies for the masses may have very low tolerances but we are still able to share cad programs of weapons. Cad programs could be additive or subtractive manufacturing. This is a step in the right direction as now all you need to have a good weapon is to have a cnt machine and the proper cad file. Additive manufacturing is only okay for fernishings of guns at the moment and the 3d printing may not be able to go past the purpose of modeling and prototyping.
Ryan Jenkins
The only really difference between a 3D printer and a CNC machine is the tool head. One has an extruder, the other has a milling bit. Both are cartesian robots. This entire thread is a mirror of the retardation on twitter that inspired it. Yes, 3d printed firearms are dangerous. No shit. You'll notice that firearms IN GENERAL are dangerous. Yes, there is probably going to be an assassination attempt with one of these. State agencies attempts to detect illicit firearms are entirely based on the assumption that the devices contain a large amount of metal. The metal content of a plastic firearm like the liberator can be hidden in a keyfob. Hence the state actors in the US shitting themselves; not because the masses can print firearms, but because those firearms are largely undetectable by law enforcement. Want proof? DefDist's Ghost Gunner project is a CNC machine for turning out AK's. It's attracted no trouble from the US government whatsoever.
Isaiah Jones
yeah cause ofc you gonna do a revolution with your shitty 3d printed gun… holy fuck burgers are crazy delusional. Having personal guns is neither a requirement, nor even an important point in making revolution. It's only useful to shoot your neighbor or your kid.
