There is not a single leftists that supports the freedom to own guns. While there are marxists who say they support the freedom to own guns, but none of them do anything to support that freedom, whether it's donating to pro-gun organizations, protesting for gun right or even just arguing in its favour*.
They do on the other hand engage in a lot of activity to oppose the right to own guns, for example by supporting organizations and politicians that intend to remove guns from the citizenry. The most common and normal form of opposition is spreading and building up the general anti-gun narrative. Has any socialist ever called the myth of "the white school shooter" a stupid meme, or done anything else to either debunk or dismiss it?
NRA is one of the worst things that have happened to gun ownership. It's nothing but porkies using guns to shill for everything else.
