Russiagate vs antifa

Facebook is stifling antifa protests and #AbolishICE campaigns because of 'muh Russia' shitlibs.

blackagendareport and wsws have done decent reporting on this

this it lads, liberalism has officially peaked.

greek antifa is very different from american anifa

every organization has small beginnings user. we just need things to accelerate just a little bit more.

America is a different country than Greece. In Europe the notion of paramilitary groups taking control of local/national governments has historical precedent and the conditions which lead to it (breakdown of law and order, creation of street gangs) is well documented. Antifa at least makes sense there because the path of escalation is clear. But in America, those sorts of conditions never existed and there is no historical precedent for gangs taking control over of even local governments. The only time this really happened was whenever workers would strike and take control of the means of production, which business owners of course decried as fascist and is why private police sent to contain workers are considered anti-fascist.

It's apples and oranges, really. In Europe a bonafide workers' party (Zig Forums, Zig Forums, whatever) can actually exist and stand a chance of gaining power within a multi-party parliament. In America a worker's party would be immediately targeted as nazi, and their members systematically blacklisted from work while their party isn't given any media time. And if an American workers' party were to seriously call for strikes, nationalization or occupation of productive forces, they'd be arrested for conspiring against the government.

In other words, Europeans have a better understanding of left vs. right activism whereas America considers all forms of worker activism to be nazi.

That's pretty much what's happening in the OP, Americans are retarded and think all activism is fascist.

Zig Forums kulak detected. Sage. Filter. Report. Delete. Repeat.

Ehhh you start to veer off when you talk about communists or worker action being branded fascists. Not really, communist was dirty enough a word that they’d just call a spade a spade. The whole “the left are the real fascists” thing didn’t happen until the absolute lunacy of religious neocons peaked during the Bush to early Obama years. Now it’s not taken seriously, and fascists do have a clear influence on the current administration. Which is also why Antifa here is becoming more active and well known.

Vladimir Putin: “I invite you to publish a world map and mark all the U.S. military bases on it. You will see the difference (between Russia and the U.S.).”

Yet people on this board are crying about Russian/Chinese "imperialism".

what are lily pads?

I'm pretty sure that is mostly just because of r*java (even though they have started begging Russia and Syria for help and appear to be forming an alliance now that the amerifats have shown that they don't really care if Turkey takes over the entire region lol.)

Fascists had influence going back to the Clinton years, America's "antifa" movement peaked around 2003-8 in regards to Bush. They went by different names back then though, or didn't need names. Since then things have largely melted apart as most became liberals or were put in jail during the OWS era (the remaining ones were picked up after the BLM crackdown began after the Dallas shooting). The remaining successful ones all work as consultants for establishment activist groups.

Again things are just different here. How many Americans have a positive view of the Oakland port shutdown? To them that was rowdy agitators trying to take business away from them, ditto for freeway protests in the same area in regards to the Mesherle shooting. All of that is seen as a form of fascism, since liberals think fascism is a loser ideology for poor people especially left-leaning ones who couldn't compete in capitalism.

imperialism is imperialism no matter what, just because the US is the world's best purveyor of it doesn't mean countries should just copy America

Compare Assad's defense of Syria, which was tacitly only used Russian aircraft just enough to prevent a US no-fly zone, to Russia invading Ukraine because of ethnonationalism. Or China's attempt to consume the south china sea which is only being done to create a monopoly over international transit in the area, to China helping Pakistan build nukes to defend themselves with.

you are a literal nazi-sympathizer if you promote this narrative.

There's already an effective solution to fascism, it's called socialism. Antifa failed to stop fascism in the past and it'll fail to do so in the modern era. Read this: libcom.org/library/when-insurrections-die

kys

they won't. there would be a different border agency consisting of NONE of the old ICE/DHS membership (as they will have all gone to the wall) whose task is only to stop drugs and porkies/fash from getting in.

Ironically, meanwhile in Russia:

“N-no cumrade! That’s a liberal imperialist petite bourg lie! Putin fights American imperialism with his own so he must be /ourguy/!”

Lmao what, this a direct lie. Local antifa I know are mainly hardcore maoists and ancoms, a few succdems, none with any official establishment ties. They’re usually idpol heavy on Twitter and in public, but when we actually talk they focus less on that.

...

yeah, because those are the only people left

I'd imagine it means where they stop and re-fuel, that's why Shannon Airport gets a dot
