Rojava

So whats the consensus on it? I've heard they hand over "liberated" Syrian towns to the American military and attract lots of psychos to serve in their armed forces. I also hear that they are actively aiding US imperialism.

Its cool that they have communes and shit but that seems very sketchy. I ain't an expert but supporting US imperialism doesn't seem very "socialist".

Fuck them.
Assad is the true leader of the syrian people.
Kurdistan is no different from Kosovo. It's a meme that exist to build some American Bases near a country.

I want them to stop giving the US military bases

I can't wait until Assad conquers them.

They need to eject any and all American personnel and suspend any deals or agreements they have with them before I take them seriously. Also they need to agree to cooperate with the Syrian government.

I might be misinformed, but wasn’t there talks of there being some kind of peace agreements talks between them and the Assad government upcoming?

This thread probably won't live very long.

tbh i don't know that much about over a dozen US military bases in Syria. they seem to cooperate with both Assad's government as well as the U.S. whenever it's convenient. IMO they are probably just engaging in some flexible realpolitik while understanding that their largely Kurdish population can't trust anyone in the long-term.

also fuck erdogan

That was one of the last things I remember seeing discussion about before Syria and the Kurds finally dropped out of vogue for this board.

just standard negotiations no different than Syrian negotiations with FSA

Rojava is US puppet state and was B Plan if FSA couldn't do the job

they both share common enemy in erdogan. There was some battle where they cooperated against turkish terrorists, but I do not believe it led to some military agreements, most likely because r*java would lose US support.

Didn't they do the latter already to an extent?

I hope since they see what the us alliance does to their cause they start working with Assad more

Rojava > Assad
but also fuck the US military

Pretty sure there was never any agreement between Assad and the FSA to classify service in the FSA as equal status to service in the SAA. However such a deal was signed between Assad and the SyDF.

DFNS is playing a game of opportunistic support between contradictory partners so as to establish itself as a viable force. It's going to lose badly.

There’s literally nothing wrong with this. Realpolitik to protect their revolution is perfectly acceptable, to say otherwise is idealism.

At the current moment it seems the opposite is going to happen, especially if the PKK’s operations in Turkey escalate. Assad is clearly willing to negotiate, and the Kurds have repeatedly demonstrated an interest in acknowledging his legitimacy as president and maintaining Syria’s territorial integrity.

I agree as long as it doesn't lead to dilution of revolutionary elements of your movement and infiltration by the enemy. I was just bringing it up to show why over a dozen US military bases in Syria gets support from various groups who are fighting against one another.

This is the best case (realistic) scenario but it's more likely the over a dozen US military bases in Syria will end up dissolving as a force after the civil war with only modest reformations to console the majority of the Kurds and socialists. Or Syria will fall and over a dozen US military bases in Syria will be annihilated.

Did I trigger a filter?

Yes.

R-oj.ava => over a dozen US military bases in Syria

Did it just get activated because posts above were fine?
Rojava

Rojava sucks, but still a way better than Assadist fascists.

No, the word filters are just a bit fucky. They don't work if there's not a space before the word:

the Kurds are LITERALLY a mossad/cia operation

BO is the only consistent and intelligent leftist on this entire board, I commend xir for it

Is it true that the over a dozen US military bases in Syria might ditch US foreign aid and have peace talks with Assad?

eeueueueueueueueeueueeue

They’re already in peace talks with Assad, with other reports saying they are preparing for joint military operations against the FSA. The SyDF has no allegiance to America, they are only keeping them around to keep the T*rks (and to a lesser extent the SAA) from squashing them). If Syria and Russia can guarantee their security and the survival of their revolution, then they will side with them and eject the US.

In sha Allah the Turks, Americans, and reactionary US-funded proxy groups will all be pushed back after these talks.
