No, because socialism isn't just "worker control," abolishing commodity production is important too. Please read Marx; I don't mean that as a quip but as sincere advice. I had some of the same misconceptions before starting with him.
Also, I read an interesting article recently about market socialism in Yugoslavia. In many cases the workers came to be more interested on their businesses than the class as a whole, which caused problems.
