Allow me to explain. Soviet Union and Warsaw did in fact fall. The west achieve their high standards of living, because capitalists were scared of communist revolution in their countries so the government did it's job, the rich paid their taxes and overall everything was cheaper. Since USA has won the cold war, it gave a damn on workers and so things are getting worse and worse each years, and in a sense things are escalating.

to be honest smart people tend to be left-leaning, so universities are somewhat left. Potentially far-left if leftists would be promoting the left to the public rather than in-fight. Also, one of the main things stated by the Soviet encyclopedia is that often, right-wing parties may be advancing the Marxist cause in the overall dialectical materialist struggle. Multiple examples are stated (various Latin American and African nationalist parties).
