Cockshott has already visited China, Venezuela, and Vietnam. He even gave a talk in Venezuela outlining pragmatic measures that could be taken to move towards socialism. As far as Cockshott is aware they have not attempted to implement any of these ideas. All that was done (in Venezuela) was to commission a translation of his work.
