I think about state recognized marriage, and i dont see a purpose for it under socialism. It seems to me to only exist for property inheritance and a way to ensure family members have security in the form of health/life insurance and other securities. Removing these legal functions of marriage then we are left with only a spiritual one. I dont mind people doing whatever, but why should the state be involved in this sort of thing?
