What's the solution to the Polish question?
Jacob Davis
thank you news user!

God Dubya in hindsight looks like a 300 Autism Level homosapien compared to Trump, I am glad America managed to elect such a mouthbreathing retard
Carter Robinson
I'm 100% sure that african immigrants don't cross the sahara to get into the europe, they would just all die from the harsh conditions of the desert.
Gavin Hall
These migrants are coming from places that the US and Europe have ruined via imperialism. They could easily stop the flow of refugees by ceasing all "interventions" in the MENA region but refuse to do so.
Wyatt Torres
The damage has already been done, you can't just stop it, even if the US and the european powers decided to withdraw all of their troops suddenly.
Service workers can't use strikes the way industrial workers can, because when they go on strike they don't really hurt their bosses so much as they hurt the people they provide services to. When teachers go on strike, the school administration is unaffected. It's the students and parents who are harmed the most, and then the parents turn against the union during elections and ballot initiatives.
Brandon Ward
Students joined the strike too.
Evan Morgan
I guarantee that a poll would show a majority of parents opposing the strike. The same thing happens when bus and train drivers go on strike, public service employees go on strike, or even fast food workers go on strike. The people who expect service get angry because the strike suspends service, and then they turn against the union. Class consciousness certainly helps, but there's only so much you can do to fight back against the material relationship between the servicers and the serviced.
Hunter Nguyen
Opinions of class unconscious proles are worth less than dogshit.
Levi Long
hot take
Evan Martinez
Majority of Americans support striking teachers
Christopher Perez
Except their votes are worth just as much as anyone else's votes during elections and ballot initiatives>>2652720 . They turn into foot soldiers for capital against the unions.
I would love to see a source for that.
Levi Cruz
If anyone from Zig Forums is reading this, this shit right here is why no one actually believes you when you claim to be against globalism.
Henry Cook
but being on the side of the imperialists is so cool!
And union leadership are collaborationists and are the lieutenants for capital against the workers.
There is only one goal, and that is the creation of a classless society, where people are not exploited and oppressed by others, and everything is a means to that end. All those who work against this goal are to be destroyed.
I assume that some analyst did that. Honestly the more openly racist America becomes the less effective it will be at maintaining its empire. Not because racists can't run empires but because reasserting explicit supremacy of the ruling ethnic identity (in America this would be "whites") is the sign of a failing settler-colonialist society. I mean it's going to get really, really bad but stuff like this only helps us (the global left) in the long term.
On Yom Kippur no less. I thought the "white supremacist" hand sign at the Kavanaugh hearing was a little paranoid but this is blatant as can be.
Jack Mitchell
The funny part is that the White House will either come out vocally against this or 'reveal' how reunification is the plot of evil Kim Jong un and all of these idiots will have to do an insanely rapid 180 (this will probably happen within days I imagine unless Kim is secretly CIA and this is some ebic 3d pachinko)
This is Moon flying in the fucking face of the US. Peace with the Norks is absolute worst case scenario for US interests in the peninsula. The DoD wants that country, it wants those fuckers eating McDonald's and it wants those workers making nikes and it wants those mineral resources and it needs that border with China and the South kicking the military out makes those plans untenable until ww3 or probably never.
user is right, surprisingly enough most Americans (a fairly impressive majority in fact) are supportive of strikes, specifically teachers strikes. Remember that these strikers are nearly all respected members of the community who are literally friends with the parents of their students and all they ask for is decent pay and security, it's a very sympathetic cause. Probably a lot of them are actually conservative or at least apolitical, even.
But strikes are expensive for strikers. The union membership doesn't want to go too long without pay, especially when they were on thin enough ice to begin with financially. I'd say the big disadvantage for them isn't that they're a service, it's that they're a public service. The people they're opposing don't even really care about them returning to work because in the long term they don't want them to work at all. Their goal is to shrink schools until they don't even exist anymore. Just look at what they've done to states like Oklahoma which has 4 day weeks simply because legislature refuses to give public schools enough budget to stay open longer. It's the exact same strategy the Tories used in the UK:
For those of you still skeptical about Cockshott's democracy schtick, it's because politicians are universally fucking evil. In bourgeois republics it's like if every member of the CCCP was Yeltsin.
Andrew Brooks
The USA is gonna get rid of NATO with France and Germany and instead Eastern Europe and Georgia.
North Korea would not attack the US unless it attacked first. That Kim Jong-Un wanted reunification just like Moon Jae-In did but they just didn't get to terms agreements. No denuclearization would happen till North Korea got military backing from other countries to help protect it. The nukes were always for defensive purposes just like how other countries use them although Kim Jong-Un went to greater lengths to keep people on edge to know the threats weren't empty.
Ryder Long
I guarantee within 10 years the poles will spazz out and accuse the US of being oppressor and occupier
easy commitment to make and it looks good for both sides. It doesn't actually mean nukes will go away anytime soon. Same way they signed out that Olympics deal for 2032, odds are it'll be scrapped
Isn't there a wall already in western Sahara built by Morocco?
Michael Cook
And I was afraid the gig economy would completely drown out unionization and collective action. Glad to see couriers still have solidarity and the balls to stand their ground.
