Remember the student uprising and the awful government violence in response? That's still going, it's just being censored to hell and high water by the powers that be. Facing a lack of "legitimate" charitable channels through which to provide funding, what means do we have to offer any real, meaningful support to our comrades across the oceans - if any?
How can we provide material support to our Bangladeshi comrades in their time of need?
who dat?
Some dude probably
This thread should be more active!
International solidarity is one of our better weapons these days.
Some us dollars are worth a ton in bangladesh, we can really do something here.
Uphold Marxism-Somedudism

might be this guy?
But wait I thought Venezuela wasn't real communism? Commies btfo yet again :^)
Wikipedia classifies the Worker's of Bangladesh as "anti-revisionist" and "Maoist" - but that isn't really true isn't it?
en.wikipedia.org
From what I can see, they are friendly to the ruling Muslim party and abandoned the Marxist rethoric, and their relations seems to be mostly to more lukewarm CPs, like the CPI(M) or Eurocommunist parties.
Friendly to a party based on religion?
Gulag.
AL while Majority Muslim obviously arent even Islamists or some shit and are basically just a SucDem party with Religion-Cucked characteristics
And of course WPB and AL will be friendly they though their independence war together
As I said, I don't know if this is true. The German Wikipedia article states that they have "reduced their Marxist rethoric sgnificantly", and link this article:
greenwatchbd.com
I can not find any proof of that claim. It might be a smear.
This is a Trot article. But nonetheless, if you ignore the Trot agenda, it might be true. Which is kind of funny because Wikipedia labels them as some sort of hyper-Stalinist anti-revisionist Maoists.
As a skinkin' trot I can confirm that I don't give a shit any more and will fund batshit stalinists anytime as long as their flag is fucking red.
Don't trust wikipedia.
fresh from the_donald?
Tbh this is something all socialists should do. With the current state the socialist left is in, we can't really keep refusing to cooperate with other socialists due to petty differences which really don't matter at fucking all.
The only "socialists" I wouldn't cooperate with are pol-potists if I'm being honest though.
...
*Some* critical thinking is required when the it comes to red flags
But back to the topic at hand: how do we support our comrades overseas? I would imagine some degree of anonymity and OpSec would be required in the case of heavily repressed movements, and it would be good to help establish a 101 in how to gain some competence and take the leap from LARPing to putting our necks on the line.
raise awareness, challenge power and make your voice heard
Well yes, but how do we actually support our comrades overseas?
Put on your skirt and get to work.
Any articles on the "Student uprising"? I've never heard about it before now tbh
