A year ago, Catalunya tried to become independent but it was stopped by the police hitting old people. In two days we will face an strike to remember 1-O, and people are saying that autumn will be politically active.
What do you think about the catalan struggle of independence?
Desintegrations of bourgeois states are always welcome imo.
Alexander Walker
Tell me more about the strike I havent heard about this
Brayden Gomez
Tomorrow they will occupy an university (and what more they will do), with barricades and shit. Or that is what they're saying. I'll be going there, and I will make photos and shit, at the end of the day I will post them all and explain how was the day.
Do you have a CNT-FAI flag? Make sure to post pics you take ITT of tomorrow
Bentley Evans
It's not happening tomorrow, tho. Tomorrow they will occupy it and barricade it. Action happens afterwards, in the 1-O.
Luke Clark
(me) Also, I will post about it after the 1-O has happened. I will make spontaneus posts about stuff that happens in the strike tho.

One united socialist republic of Spain No ethno-Nationalism and Sectarianism
Brayden Butler
All the power to you and here's to hoping you guys suceed (FUCK unitarianism) but you guys didn't really think this through last year, did you? Also really sad how our politicians were boasting we should support Catalans and then did nothing of note, fuck them.
Isaiah Reyes
I'll be going because it interests me, and want to see it for myself. That I'm going doesn't mean I'm a nationalist. Also I'm going to inform you guys about what happens and shit, no need to thank me
Not sure what to think about Catalan independence. Spain today is crap, but it isn't crap like Franco's Spain, so all emotional memery with what happened over eight decades ago strikes me as besides the point. And the region is relatively rich to the rest of the Spain, so I believe a lot of that display of regional patriotism is about not wanting to support the less fortunate regions. What's in it for the working class?
Jason Rivera
A bunch of LARPers who got duped into supporting a bourgeois micro-ethnonationalist project because the contemporary left is so desperate for relevance that they'll latch onto anything that drapes itself in the right symbols and gesticulates in a way that echoes something from a century ago.
Lenin didn't unconditionally support nationalist movements. Stop reducing theory to a decoration for your political proclivities.
Aiden Nelson
Any update Catacmarda?
Oliver Torres
Due to school work and shit, I'll not be able to go myself. But I will ask a friend to give me the numbers of the people in there to give me photos and what are their plans and shit. Tomorrow I will definitely go to the strike tho.
Lincoln Harris
Do these people have positions on anything besides more regional independence? Independence to achieve what?
Owen Martinez
if you support democracy, you get what you deserve noone was outraged by the event outside of spain, especially not public officials
Dominic Jones
Update?
Dominic Gomez
He's gonna be here in an hour and a half. Small world.
