Germany's Far Right Finds A New Stronghold In Bavaria, And It's Costing Merkel
German support for Chancellor Angela Merkel and her conservatives is at an all-time low, and in few places is that more evident than Bavaria.A booming economy and ever fewer migrants crossing the border into the wealthy alpine state haven't eased a populist backlash against the Christian Social Union (CSU), which is the closest ally of Merkel's party, the Christian Democrats (CDU). The CSU has governed Bavaria for all but three years since 1946, most of the time with an absolute majority.

Tybna!

This just shows how wedded tech and US intelligence agencies are. But it also shows Bezos, Zucc and co are scared, good. Amazon data center locations were revealed recently as well. I'm sure someone can make good use of this information.

The so called trade war was never about trade but all about containment and economic warfare. Maybe the Chinese will actually implement socialism if they are barred from playing in the global capitalist shit show.

Wrong: ironically the thing cucking The Union in Bavaria are the fucking Greens. It's kinda kek.

The so called trade war was never about trade but all about containment and economic warfare. Maybe the Chinese will actually implement socialism if they are barred from playing in the global capitalist shit show.

Keep in mind this is from the wall street journal, which has become a naked supporter of fascism around the world.

*deep sigh* Europe is beyond saving, especially Germany.

unlike the Greens in US the ones in German are full-on neoliberal, so don't get too exited. I literally heard them in the radio saying "We, the greens, are and were the party of the car drivers". Even in eco things they suck

Oh I know that, but it is just more funny than anything.

Where are eco terrorists when you need them?

Idk how to feel about Xi anymore tbh. When he first came to power I figured he'd just be another neoliberal faggot CINO, but then he started doing some decent things such as indiiting all of those Chinese billionaires who were hiding wealth or whatever and openly calling for a renewed studying of Marxism but now reports are coming out that the government is doubling down on its persecution of Marxist reformers (who in this case are literal Marxists who want to "reform" the CPC by bringing back its Marxist/Maoist tendencies) and Xi has done virtually nothing to stifle this repression despite his enabling this new generation of Marxists to rise up in the first place

It's all very confusing and makes me depressed tbh.

And yeah I've heard the arguments and considered that the new college Marxists getting arrested and shit are CIA wreckers or whatever but I think it's bullshit for several reasons and will go into why if anyone asks

And yet D/SA cucks will continue to call for stricter gun control regulations on proles after the next Incel shoots up his school

What a shit time to be alive

Attached: sadjimmy.png (495x541, 309.04K)

Persecuting rival billionaires is standard practice in CPC. Anti-corruption campaigns are standard practice.

the "left" party also gained quite a bit and could almost make it
sadly they're shit, even worse than syriza, corbyn labour and others of their kind, especially in this state, so it doesn't even matter
but with the CSU loosing that much, it's pretty "wild", relatively speaking since they always had government control since the first elections and could almost always do so just by themself
now they can't even continue their coalition with the FDP

But seriously this makes me feel even worse about China. Kind of think people hoping for some new institutionalized socialism to emerge in China cuz Xi said nice things about Marx are 100 percent delusional tbh what about you?

Are you talking about Die Linke? Apparently they have a further Left caucus now, which doesn't mean they aren't shit but it's something

dunno what you mean by that
they're just "pre agenda 2010" socdems, and even that they prove to be inconsistent on whenever they do get to participate in government responsibility together with the SPD

commondreams.org/news/2018/09/04/echoes-sanders-and-corbyn-left-wing-stand-movement-vows-new-political-revolt-germany
Was talking about this. Read it a while back and thought it was an interesting development since Die Linke has been to Corbyn's right on several issues but I didn't have high hopes for it necessarily

i really have no good opinion of corbyn but he's still better than anything "die linke" has to offer, they used to be kinda like him but by now already exposed themself with their actions plenty enough

I'm thinking wait till the next recession. If anything will push China back to planned economy, it's that. The fact that Xi is going hard on state ownership and party involvement in recent years seems like a good indication to me.

They'll throw him in prison like they did to Bo Xilai if he tried new nationalization.

The problem with Xi promoting the study of Marxism is that when he or the CPC say Marxism they mean what ever the government is doing. They don't mean actually study Marx and try to implement labor unions or combat rentiers. To the typical Chinese, Marxism means neoliberalism. Now it is good that they said to study Marxism because that means at least some Chinese are going and studying Marx as evidence by the arrests of college Marxists.
If the trade war persist China has 2 options. First is to continue with capitalism and increase imperialist exploitation of Africa and Latin America. Second is to rebuild socialism. The imperialist path would be easier to take domestically since no change in the economic system is required. China wants to keep it's factories running and selling commodities but if it's trade partners cannot afford the commodities then the crisis of overproduction persists. It also means more military spending is necessary for China to protect it's overseas trade and to protect weak but friendly foreign governments. In the long run this could backfire as military spending is ultimately unproductive and it's not certain that China will be able to extract much besides raw materials and agricultural products from the less developed countries.
Reimplementing socialism will be much more difficult to achieve since there is opposition from domestic capitalists and CPC members. But it would mean that China could greatly reduce export industry and shift labor to more productive areas of its economy (anti desertification, health and elder care, etc). There's not need to rely on a market to determine labor allocation with centralize planning. Planning does not exclude trade with other countries but it gives more flexibility in determining how much of the economy requires international trade to stay afloat. Planning also allows more direct action be taken against climate change and pollution which China needs to do.
I suspect option one is the choice. The new silk road projects and the naval build up for power projection are all signs that China wants to continue relying on international trade and have the military power to keep the sea open. But who knows, if playing imperialism does not go well enough maybe they will consider socialism. What's the point of winning the imperialist game if the planet goes to shit in 30 years.
