I assume their whole NS aesthetic is more about hating Russia than anything else. I also wouldn't be surprised if they dislike jews but if I understand correctly these feelings are generalized in the former Soviet block.

Azov are Nazi LARPers who attract cannon fodder for Jewish oligarchs and foreign agents who run current Ukraine. They have to LARP hard to attract actual fighters who think you can be an SS soldier in 2018. Their point is to put deluded skinheads to some use while oligarchs and intelligence agents of all sorts and make fat deals way over their heads. They are the mirror image of Soviet LARPers on the other side, put together by the FSB for the same purpose. Nobody cares about the people of Donbass and meathead "militiamen" have no say in big politics, the only thing they can do is rape and extort locals in lawless zones of these unrecognized Congo- tier statelets the Russians put together there.
If you want to know who they are fighting for just research Kolomoyski or Hroysman, both Jews and major figures. Hell, research how the astronomical wealth of Ukrainian oligarchs actually increased while the normies got Africa-rier poor. And look up how many literal foreign passport holders are in the government of "independent" Ukraine.
As for the Russians, one faction of Donetsk militia is called "Russian Orthodox Army", they're classified as Russian Orthodox extremists lmao. Other units are composed of Don Kossacks, literally enemies of Communism. Stalin idolatry is nostalgia of an era when Russia dominated Eastern Europe, nothing to do with Communism. Fuck there are pictures of Stalin with the Romanov flag. The leadership is now fully Russian Commanders now that the last guy got killed.
