It has nothing to to with Sesame credit. Sesame credit is a frequent shopper rewards program for Alibaba. It is not even tenuously connected to social credit, which itself is not a score.
Please, for the love of God. Before you start posting about social credit, read this link. It takes 5 minutes, it's worth it.
REALLY makes me think It's clear that it's not as bad as the liberal sinophobes claim (who immediately have to resort to "muh black mirror" or "muh 1984" cause they don't understand politics) but you have to be blind to not realize that even this "moderate" social credit will no doubt be expanded in the future. Surveillance in the western world is taking the same trend and we also have our fair share of "muh terrorists tho" and "nothing to hide" retards who would like to see all of their rights shredded and burned but will weep crocodile tears when Chinese merely share the same fate as us. Don't kid yourself, there is still nothing redeemable whatsoever about this. And the funniest part is that some dengoids (the ones who actually know a thing or two, like you, say it's exaggerated) actually defend the caricature version of social credit as a good thing since China is supposedly still socialist.

The untrustworthy conduct they are punishing are literally things like fraud, failing inspections, failing to pay court fines, have a court judgement against you through one of the various legal channels that exist in China being organized and transparent to avoid repeated abuses.

There is nothing in it about rewarding people or punishing dissidents. It does not collect a record of things you have said or works you have published to put a limit on speech. It is specific industry laws with specific industry punishments. Breaking a law in one industry does not impact your dealings in another industry.
It is NOT a more "moderate" version of the black mirror universe. It is a totally unlike thing.
Stop trying to distort the law to fit your imaginary version of it. Accept what it is for real.
