Enraged Maoist Jason Unruhe goes ALL OUT against capitalists. "If Mao or 'communism' supposedly killed 100 million people, then capitalism is going to kill 6 BILLION people because of global warming thanks to you fuckin' assholes"
lol no, at most a few hundred million people will move to the West. The Death rate of Climate Change won’t be that high. It’ll make the world fucking shit, but few will die.
Sebastian Gomez
I believe so
Joseph Williams
This will be the downfall of capitalism as we know it and an objectively revolutionary situation.
Jason Cruz
Do you understand what the movement of "just a few hundred million" moving to the west would cause?
William Hall
You have it literally backwards. It still might not be 6 billion (as in literally everyone in the planet) but it will be upwards of 500 million easily, if not 1 or 2 thirds of the population. The only people who will get out of it initially will be the bourgeois. Also, eventually, if nothing at all is done about it in any way, then yes, everyone on the planet will perish, it will just take a few decades
Easton Kelly
Also you don't take into account food production
Dylan Gray
I'm honestly pretty worried to see what will happen when the biggest movement of people this world will ever see begins from the south to the north. It will be tens of millions of people and I can already see ethnocentrism and national egoism going out of control. Most people don't mind immigration if it's controlled but tens of millions of people is going to absolutely cripple the advanced capitalist nations in the West. If the world doesn't go crypto-fascist it will lead to a proletarian revolution
Nathaniel Lewis
Tip from a professional Just move to Canada or Siberia

I guess Mao or communism would have either: A: lowered living standards so we used less fossil fuel per person up to now B: massively reduced the population (lol) so fewer people are around to use fossil fuels C: magically made better green energy tech and nuclear fusion years ago, even though actually existing communism was nowhere near to such a thing.
Not EVERY problem is caused by capitalism, guys (just most of them). This particular problem is actually caused by industrial growth times by population. This is obvious when you consider that China is now the world's number one polluter. Why? Because it has the most population times by some of the highest growth. Unless you think that green tech is so easy and uncostly (resources would still cost other resources under communism; it's not magic) that we could have had an entirely solar world in, say, 1970 (then why didn't any actually existing commies throw money at this problem?) or cracked nuclear fusion by that point. The Soviet Union had some of the best scientists in the world and they couldn't do this. The laws of physics exist. You want rapid industrial and population expansion, this is what you get, regardless of whether capitalists or worker's collectives decide what to do with the industrial surplus.
Blake James
Fuck off, Malthus
Cameron Rivera
Where's the malthus? Malthus' claim is that population growth will outstrip food supply because of some dodgy math. My claim is that if you want industrialization and magicly amazing green tech doesn't actually exist, and you want to grow the population in the same time period, then you are going to get massive amounts of greenhouse gas going into the atmosphere, regardless of what system you want to have. This is physics.
Austin Ross
Hahaha that's really digging deep this guy has a truly complex mind
Jackson Hill
All that means is that actual, committed socialists with a Marxist-Leninist foundation should focus on building up the only existing socialist country (DPRK) in the planet by improving its ability for self-reliance/economic autarky (specifically food and energy), improve its conventional & nuclear weapons and ICBMs, support countries that oppose the dominant imperialist country United States like Iran, Syria, Venezuela and to a much lesser extent crypto-capitalist China, and weaken the United States by increasing internal political conflict and reducing the Pentagon budget.
It doesn't take Mao's Three Worlds Theory or this updated "Maoism-Third Worldism" LARPing to understand that there is no hope of proletarian revolution let alone socialism in the first world. Just look at the boringly predicable political theater in the Americas and Europe, and look how total sheep 99% of the population is in all these Western countries. Even the minimum wage worker in America has a very comfortable life in comparison to his third world counterpart. The third world worker has to worry every day whether he will be able to find enough crickets and mealworms to eat that day whereas the first world minimum wager has to worry about which fuckbuddy he's going to get laid by tonight by "swiping left or right" with his fat finger on his overpriced suicide-rampant-Foxconn-factory-made smartphone Apple iPhone. Which of these two demographics do you think is more likely to be inspired by a Leninist/Maoist call for revolution and believe they have nothing to lose?
The problem here is supporting socialist countries from your keyboard and on Twitter does not actually help them. I can't do anything to help North Korea or socialist anywhere in the world but my own country.
Ayden Perez
He doesn't even know why he's mad, he just wants to be the -ist that goes ballistic about how his -ism is the right one. What a fat retarded faggot. Please kys leftypaul
Jackson Butler
Hackers.
It's not that you "can't", it's that you don't want to leave the comfort of your own country and/or educate yourself with the necessary knowledge and skills that would be most beneficial to them.
Daniel Baker
I can assure you that a monolingual college-student isn't going to be useful to the DPRK or any existing socialist state. Class-struggle is first and foremost a national struggle and I will work towards it for my own country first, not completely repudiating proletarian internationalism, of course. I'm not just saying this this to blow off doing anything of value, either. I do plan to participate IRL
Luis Moore
Can we actually just fucking kill the capitalist class yet? This is getting out of hand. It isn't even about living standards anymore. This is life or death.
He does realize that's been said a million times before right? That isn't a very big claim to make.
Jaxon King
imagine believing that the end of the world is near because jason unruhe says so.
Dominic Cooper
Anti-imperialism should be the primary focus of leftists within the first world. A revived anti-war movement and continued support for the BDS campaign would help socialist movements in the global south.
Very well said. At least someone besides the Roo has some common sense in this thread.
Zachary Stewart
Read the article you mouth-breathing retard.
Nathaniel Hall
But socialism contributes the most to climate change.
See China.
Thomas Rogers
I too agree that the Proletarian Nations must be united under their leaders must be in conflict with the Bourgeois Nations and that is the only way for Socialism to succeed.
The prospect of literally every fucking mammalian life form dying on Earth is very real. There are scientifically projected scenarios wherein we just run out of oxygen and suffocate, thanks to ocean acidification.
But keep up your optimism, Mr. genocide enabler optimist.
He talks about Cockshott saying stuff about the Soviets and climate change, does anyone have Cockshott's writing or a video on this?
Jonathan Rodriguez
Yes, it is funny and useful that the DPRK is a pain in America's ass. No, that does not make them an ally. They should be treated like the useful idiots they are and dropped when they become too dangerous.
Jayden Walker
Are you referring to the unsubstantiated bullshit about how they supposedly secretly think they are the "cleanest race"?
To expand on what you can actually do regarding the DPRK.
This of course requires you to have the opportunity to study at university and be given the opportunity to go for a student exchange or a researcher exchange. Students from many european countries have this opportunity.
If you look at the official instagram account of the DPRK, you can see them having many international visitors. And as you can see they are not shy about it.
Thank you for cryptycally pointing out the ridiculousness of using the class category on nations. Just for those who did not notice the Spurdo flag and Il Duce picture, nation states are either imperialist ones, or colonies.
Also South Korea and Japan, two hyper-capitalist countries, are almost as fucking racially homogenous you stupid liberal cunt.
Camden Brooks
you do know we're about to break 8 right?
Parker Foster
How fucked is Eastern Europe in this scenario? On the projections I've seen we seem to be right on the edge of desert_apocalypse.jpg
Connor Rivera
Mediterranean and Serbia: underwater/desert apocalypse overrun by climate migrants from all around the world, trying to get in through walled off Slovenia, Hungary, North Italy.
Lincoln Cooper
East Europe is the safest place to be. Siberia will become very much livable. I am mostly OK with this scenario, I am only sad about animal deaths and destruction of nature. Still, if it comes to posadism to build better future so be it.

Chairman Kim needs as many skilled agricultural engineers, solar electrical engineers, security hackers, and computer scientists as possible. With the internet you have no excuse not to be able to learn higher level mathematics; computer science; Newtonian, electromagnetic, and quantum mechanic physics; chemical kinetics; organic chemistry; spectroscopy; photochemistry; hydraulics; and fluency in Korean and Mandarin. In any case, for now what the DPRK needs most is major improvements in their energy and crop production and their intranational transport.
When locally-produced energy and crop abundance becomes a reality, that's when they can comfortably scale down and eventually shut down the SEZs and black market, send the petit bourgeoisie that were created since the 90s famine to re-education, resume hydrogen bomb and ICBM testing to scare away the imperialists, and implement a more advanced planned economy deriving all its data from the intranet, guided by modern computing and AI, borrowing ideas from OGAS, Cybersyn and TaNS.
If global warming becomes as bad as some predict (which I remain skeptical over doomsday extinction porn like methane release from permafrost turning Earth into an 800 degree Venus), we will need to construct underground domes and mines each connected by tunnels beneath Pyongyang's large Taedong river to house the entire population of the DPRK. All energy will be collected by solar panels on the planet's surface and underground hydroelectric plants along the river, much of which will be used for lighting, to convert to artificial light to facilitate the photosynthesis of underground crops, power the underground electric and atmospheric trains, air pumps, hydroponic laboratories and so on.
I'm studying electrical engineering in a South American country. My plan is to buy some land in the Chilean Patagonia or Tierra del Fuego and set up a small socialist community there. I'd be able to set up a micro-grid and have completely renewable electrical power. I need people with agricultural knowledge, and a shitton of digital storage since I'm planning on saving humanity's most important works in HDDs. What should I save comrades?
Ethan Campbell
Putin literally is giving out land for free in Siberia and you can homestead in Alaska.
Chase Walker
All three locations sound wonderful.
The rainforests. Is this "deep web" (or is it dark net? w/e) just a separate kind of intranet? I'm thinking a good commune is going to need it's own net. That's a shitton of server storage put to some use, no?
