I define LARPing as pretending to be something you’re obviously not. As one example, pretending to be a Russian revolutionary from 1917 in modern 2018 conditions (ushankas, obsession with sectarianism from 100 years ago, etc). You need to involve yourself in things which actually appeal to ACTUAL WORKERS and benefit their lives. Politics without roots in the masses is nothing more than adventurism, which can easily lapse into LARPing. My advice – take your politics seriously and don’t treat it as an identity.
