America's foreign policy is broadly the same no matter if Trump or Bernie Sanders is in charge only Trump is larping as a hardliner military man while Obama was doing things more deftly and sneakily. US foreign policy is a copy of British imperial foreign policy in the Middle East where they aim to have the sea lanes of the Persian Gulf the Horn of Africa the Suez and the Mediterranean on lockdown prevent any other power like Russia or China from taking control of the area by sea and prevent anyone from taking control of the area by land like Iran. IT's not about Israel, Israel is a US satrapy that props up US imperialism in the area and if Israel didn't exist and no jews existed in the world at all US foreign policy would be pretty much exactly the same.
