they advocate mixed economy, but the way they win over the masses is by using leftist rhetoric, they unironically use the word "comrade" to refer to each other (just peronists) and they call themselves "leftists", they use imagery of Che Guevara and praise him constantly when they aren't even close to being socialists.

I think that is more a SocDem to chat with other socdem, the parties from Peru are examples of that:
Peruvian Nationalist Party: In 2006 it was pretty leftwing(chavez style). In 2011 won by being Lula style(and because Keiko fujimori was the competitor).Now the Humalas are in jail and the party is non-existant.
The Peruvian communist Party: Which one? PCP Union? PCP Patria roja? Or the sacos (just kidding they arein Movadef or in the VRAEM
