you could also just put one of those USB sticks on your laptop and computer, and it kinda works using a kitchen strainer covered in aluminium attached with some wire wrapped around the stick to get a better signal if your pc is in a bad spot

the internet was fine back when it was all about learning and spreading information, then Silicon Valley consumerized it and turned it into a narcissism industry with dumb shit like social media, and then colleges added paywalls to all of their information.

Cubans have had internet access for a little while now but its all in public spaces like coffee shops etc. Some cubans amplify the signal and sell internet access as well i believe. But this is a good development and hopefully the price goes down because most people wont be able to afford one of these mobile plans.
