He also did an AR vs AK comparison video with each rifle laid out next to the flag of the respective country (US and Soviet). However he hung the American flag up behind the rifle because muh magic cloth, while he put the AKs on top of the Soviet flag. He made some joke about “Now I don’t know if anybody considers THIS flag to be sacred”. A little autistic of me to bitch about it maybe but it pissed me off since millions of people obviously do respect that flag.
Hickock45 is amazing, never showed any sort of political interest in any of his videos.

I don`t think that is actually factual. Its more likely that warfare has developed with technology to such a point that death on battlefield caused by uncontrollable reasons is the real rippling terror that renders most combat units ineffective after few weeks at most in months useless, creating demand for rotation of units. Legionaries and medieval armies of past had no problem in far more brutal and violent warfare where your own abilities contributed to the end result. Its just that modern societies have become too desensitized to violence in addition to warfare turning into far more uncontrollable and par-longed that causes the PTSD.
