So protesters in Sudan are calling for "the fall of the regime" and have torched the headquarters of Sudan's Muslim Brotherhood, supposedly over oil and bread prices thanks to the split in 2011. What do you guys make of the situation? CIA protesters like in the Arab Spring? Genuine anger at Omar al-Bashir for incompetence or malicious policies?

I’m for anything that hurts traditionalist reactionaries but isn’t this just idpol infighting rather than any actual steps towards the liberation of the Sugondese people?

This board..

Interestingly enough the idpol issues during the civil war were being kept in check under the leadership of a secular pan African statesman named John Garang. It's only after he died in the helicopter crash that the SPLA became strictly separatist and the foreign donations came really pouring in.

Read the articles, people can't afford bread or gas

Fuck off, despite it’s failures the Arab Spring was not only good but necessary, it showed the Arab People that they the people have agency, the Arab Spring can be compared to the revolutions of 1848. Any future socialist revolution in the region will be built off of experiences from the Arab Spring.

Lol, every country that deposed their autocrat leader is worse off now under Islamist theocracy.

anti-materialist desu

Compare Iran which is slowly gaining women’s rights to Saudi Arabia where every time their government is investigated a purge is discovered.

this is reactionay-tier logic

It's reactionary to acknowledge the obvious truth that the West wants the third world to be weak and disunited so they can exploit their resources for all they're worth? Say what you will about strongmen like Gaddafi, they kept reactionaries under control and slowly built up their countries in spite of Western jingoism, now it's just a free for all for corporations to pay off the local warlord for a pittance to control the local mines.

This. The game-plan of the West is to balkanize the World into either "Democratic", ethno-states, or regions so that Corporations have free reign.

Bigger is always better.

It's why Putin's Russia being so Reactionary and Nationalistic is okay, China being Nationalistic and Imperialistic is okay

The other alternative is Western Corporations having free reign over all their resources and people.

No. It is reactionary to reduce people's uproaring grievances to "lol, CIA did it." I can imagine nothing more 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧anglo🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧 than saying that every third world movement is basically "done" by you.

Go fuck yourself.

NO INVESTIGATION, NO RIGHT TO SPEAK.
Stop arguing without any fucking evidence! Do some fucking googling or research to figure out what's actually going on in Sudan!

I feel it is hard to give a fuck about what happens in sub-saharan Africa. Isn't there just perpetual warfare down there?

I doubt the protests would be CIA funded. The current Sudanese government is very useful to the US, as it provides most mercenaries for the war against AnsarAllah in Yemen. Meanwhile South Sudan, where all the oil is, is already an on again off again US puppet (place is a bit volatile).

Tunisia isn’t. The Arab Spring produced some incredibly bad results, but is also false to say that it was an entirely astroturfed operation. The CIA can’t create mass discontent out of thin air, people were clearly genuinely angry about many legitimate grievances.

You have any evidence that John Garang was only a pan-African and pushed the idea of New Sudan out of cynicism?

holy fucking shit this post
someone immortalise this
