are the charter schools producing better outcomes than the abysmal public schools were?

No, charter schools are a major contributor to the dwindling state of education in the US. They are not held to the same standards as other schools, notoriously fuck over the teachers and staff that work at them, all while taking public funding out of the pockets of public schools.

You mean common core? Because if so then that's a good thing.

Nationalize education now

Education standards in general. Charter schools only care about profit and the more students they attract, the more funding they receive, so they churn kids out by fucking with grades.

What are your complaints with common core?

This is of vital importance. State ran education has been a major disaster. The spending disparity for education across this country is insane. New York spends an average of $19K per student on education, while in Utah they spend $6K per student. Every state also has wildly different license acquisition processes for teachers. In some states you have to take multiple tests on overall knowledge (kind of like an SAT), content knowledge, and teaching practices, while in some states you take a single test that doesn't do much to measure teaching ability. We need consistent standards nation wide. It isn't right that the quality of the public education you receive is left up to a gamble on where your parents decided to raise you.

How dialectical.

they're a net nothing. for some people it means better education for others it means worse education. it's completely decentralized and the standardization is subminimal.

Common core is good. Retarded American parents are just mad because they're too stupid to help their kids with their homework now.

They are primarily a way for bourgie fucktards to profit off of the government's need to provide education for proles (and also the desire to discipline teacher unions.)

Education is bourgeois
Work is the duty of the socialist man.
Sitting around in a study reading books is for pampered rich kids.
I will never read a book in my life, Marxist-Lenninism flows through my veins, I create the revolutionary vanguard with my every action.

Education is bourgeois. What importance does a factory worker place upon the knowledge of ancient Babylon or the height of Mount Everest?

It's simple.

We burn all the books. That way no one will wanna become a Reactionary after reading about the Confederacy, Nazi Germany, or the USA

We could probably only make room for an extra year of high school by cutting down the amount of essays and advanced math. I would love to see more skills taught in public education but y'all are probably just brainlets, sounding like that tumblr mitochondria meme.

100% agree. It’s just common sense to me. The Soviets had this down, as usual. All education was nationalized, no direct charges at any level, even for stuff such as advanced research degrees. Private schools and religious schools were banned. It should be the exact same here in America, the quality of our education is abysmal and it’s disgusting how money these universities milk out of people

Yeah, and fuck science, math, history, technological and social progress. We can all just larp like it's 1920. If you want to be dumb and reactionary go to Zig Forums.

Education has been the domain of the bourgeoisie and upper classes throughout history, while the lower classes have toiled regardless, building up society as we know it. He did not need such luxuries as education. Harmful bourgeois ideology is often propagandized through education and it is well-known that without education man’s communistic instincts are at their foremost. Urbanism is yet another problem that will have to be dealt with at year zero

Way to think inside the ideological box leftypol. An independent school with government funding that you could teach communism to the drones through and all you guys can do is complain.

Bait but interesting though nonetheless. Why doesn't China start funding Maoist schools in this area?

We’re talking about a country where stuff like the Communist Control Act is still technically legal and is still spooked on red scare-type shit
